How do I share the log with my partner?
Add at least one child, then go to Family › Invite Your Partner and send the invitation. When your partner opens it on their iPhone with Nap & Night installed, you'll both see the same kids, timers and log.
You both need to be signed in to iCloud.
My partner's changes aren't showing up. What should I check?
Changes sync through iCloud and usually arrive within a minute. Make sure both iPhones are online and signed in to iCloud, and that Nap & Night is turned on in the list of apps using iCloud (Settings › your name › iCloud).
Opening the app on both phones also helps it catch up.
How does the app choose the next nap window?
It starts from typical wake windows for your child's age and counts from when they last woke up. Windows stretch through the day: the first after the morning wake-up is the shortest and the one before bed is the longest.
If your child naps more or less than is typical for their age, tap them in Family and set Naps per Day. These are typical ranges, not rules, so talk to your pediatrician if you're worried about your child's sleep.
I forgot to start the timer. How do I add a sleep?
Tap + at the top of Today or Log and enter when the sleep started and ended. If the timer is running but you started it late, change Fell Asleep below the timer.
How do I edit or delete a sleep?
In Log, tap a sleep to change its times, type or note. To delete it, swipe left on it, or tap it and choose Delete Sleep.
How do I get nap window alerts?
Turn on Nap Window Alerts in Family and allow notifications. If you turned notifications off earlier, turn them back on in Settings › Notifications › Nap & Night.
Why isn't the timer showing on my Lock Screen?
Check that Timer on Lock Screen is on in Family, and that Live Activities are allowed in Settings › Nap & Night. The timer shows on the Lock Screen, and in the Dynamic Island on iPhones that have one, while a sleep is running.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Nap & Night. It shows who's asleep, how long they've been awake and when the next nap window opens. You can add it to your Lock Screen too.
How do I delete my data?
Remove a child in Family to delete them and every sleep logged for them. To delete the copy in iCloud, see Deleting your data in our Privacy Policy.
